ONE-ON-ONE TRAINING. OKLAHOMA CITY.LET’S TALK 405.202.7605
GOOD QUESTIONS. STRAIGHT ANSWERS.

LET’S CLEAR
A FEW THINGS UP.

Here are some common questions about training with me. If yours isn’t here, just ask.

Getting started

Do I need to be in shape before I start?

No. We’ll discuss where you are now and choose an appropriate starting point. You don’t need to arrive knowing how to use every piece of equipment or perform every exercise.

What if I haven’t exercised in years?

That’s something we can work through together. We’ll start by discussing your history, goals, and any limitations, then focus on technique and building a routine at an appropriate level.

How much experience do you have?

I’ve worked as a personal trainer in Oklahoma City for more than 22 years. My own experience with weight and fitness is one reason I care about helping people find a practical path forward.

What if I have an injury or a health condition?

Tell me about any limitations before we train. Some situations call for medical clearance or advice from your clinician. Personal training is not a substitute for medical evaluation or rehabilitation.

The sessions

Where do we train?

At my private studio at 5127 N Portland Ave in Oklahoma City. You don’t need a separate gym membership to train with me.

How long is a session, and what does it cost?

Focused 30-minute personal training sessions are $40 each. Contact me to discuss your goals and the right training schedule.

Is every session the same?

No. Your program is shaped around your goals and abilities. We can adjust exercises, resistance, rest, and intensity as you progress.

Can I train with a friend?

My focus is individual attention. If you’re interested in training with someone else, contact me so we can discuss your goals, abilities, and what may be appropriate.

Do I need to do anything between sessions?

We’ll discuss practical activities and habits that support your goals outside the studio. The plan will depend on your starting point, schedule, and recovery needs.

Scheduling and next steps

Do you offer early morning or evening sessions?

Morning and evening times are popular. Send me your preferred days and times and I’ll let you know what is currently available.

How often should I train?

There isn’t one schedule that suits everyone. We’ll talk about your goals, current activity, available time, and what you can consistently commit to.

How do I book my first appointment?

Start by sending a message through the contact page or calling 405-202-7605. We’ll discuss your needs and schedule a time that works.

Are there forms to complete?

Yes. You’ll find the informed consent, medical questionnaire, and training agreement on the Getting Started page. Bring completed forms to your appointment; don’t send detailed medical information through the website form.
